'Château des Sables' at Howe Bay

Like our other properties on beautiful Howe
Bay, we designed this house to allow the ocean in! We sold it a few years
ago to its current owners, Gary and Jocelyne Doran + Nicole and Roger Lorrain, but
are offering it again for rental through this site and have agreed to manage it on their
behalf.
At this time, we have a limited amount of pictures to feature on the 'Tour the House' link above (these are mostly pictures from the days when we owned the property), but we'll be adding current shots in the early Spring of 2010, when the house is re-opened.
The Doran and Lorrain families have baptized their new summer home 'Sands Castle' and we trust that the reason will become abundantly clear to any summer guests, whether they are marvelling at the sparkling sands of Howe Bay or turning their attention to the very substantial building itself!
With five bedrooms and three bathrooms (see details below), the house is indeed a large one and will accommodate 12 people (up to 16 with extra pull out couches). The dining table has been moved to the spacious area in front of the glass doors and a new work island with 'butcher block' top will take its place in the kitchen. There are many comfortable seats around the wood burning fireplace and more still in the adjoining TV room. Two of the upstairs bedrooms have walk out private balconies with magnificent ocean views! There are two other large upstairs bedrooms. All of these open out to a central mezzanine area with 24' high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows.
Note that pets are not allowed at this property, because of the owners' children's allergies. (Well behaved pets with responsible owners are allowed at all of our other properties!)
